Although Nathan isn't fond of the way he looks in this picture, I thought it was too cute of the two of them to not put it on here. Chase loves time with Dad every night, and especially likes looking at the animals in his "Big Animal Book." He is getting pretty good at imitating a lot of animal noises, and it is especially funny hearing Nathan try to teach him how to gobble like a turkey...I am not sure if Chase will ever figure out how to do it quite like his dad.Wednesday, November 14, 2007
My Boys
Although Nathan isn't fond of the way he looks in this picture, I thought it was too cute of the two of them to not put it on here. Chase loves time with Dad every night, and especially likes looking at the animals in his "Big Animal Book." He is getting pretty good at imitating a lot of animal noises, and it is especially funny hearing Nathan try to teach him how to gobble like a turkey...I am not sure if Chase will ever figure out how to do it quite like his dad.Recent trip down Memory Lane
Recently Chase and I got back from visiting my old roommates and friends in Utah, where we were able to go back and walk around BYU and go out to our favorite places to eat (Cafe Rio & Papa Johns). It was a lot of fun seeing each of them, reminiscing about some of the goofy things we did back then, and having all of our kids meet for the first time and play together. Unfortunately Nathan had to stay home in CA to work, and he probably wouldn't have enjoyed all of the "girl time", but it was a lot of fun getting away and re-living old times.Bad haircut turned decent

I have been cutting Nathan's hair ever since we have been married, poor Nathan :), but have been trying my hand at cutting Chase's hair now too. We have done little trims here and there to avoid a mullet from growing, but I have gotten too brave and decided to try different razor attachments to achieve a more sophisticated look. Needless to say, an 18 month old little boy does not like to sit still, and especially isn't thrilled with the idea of some pointy black thing that vibrates and makes a lot of noise touching his head. I am normally satisfied with my job considering the circumstances, but Nathan often will come home from work and laugh at the areas where I went a little too high with the shorter attachment. Oh well, we have decided to transition into the spikey hairdo for Chase since I cut it a little too short on top by accident. I think he looks pretty cute with the change.
